Water Heater Repair & Installation in Houston

No hot water, or not enough of it? We repair and replace every kind of water heater — gas, electric, tank, and tankless. If yours is on its way out, we'll walk you through the sizes and the gas-versus-electric call, and if a tankless upgrade makes sense for your home, we'll tell you straight. A lot of Houston builders tuck the heater up in the attic, so a leak there can take out ceilings and floors — getting ahead of it saves you the mess.

Repair or replace

First we find out if you even need a new one

A water heater that's slow to heat or making noise doesn't always need replacing — sometimes it's a thermostat, an element, or a bad valve. We check the unit before we quote you a new one, and if a tankless upgrade would actually pay off for your household, we'll run the numbers with you instead of just selling up.

  • Repair and replacement for gas, electric, and tankless units
  • Tankless installs — Navien, Rinnai, Noritz, and Rheem
  • Right-sizing help: tank vs. tankless, gas vs. electric
  • Attic-installed heaters handled without wrecking your ceilings
  • Free evaluation on any tank or tankless heater
  • Licensed master plumber on every job

“Could not recommend Lance more for plumbing needs. We used Lance for a whole house repipe, new water heaters, and toilet replacement. From the very beginning Lance was responsive, informative, and easy to work with. He explained the job thoroughly, gave us a very competitive quote, and provided a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

Water Heaters FAQ

How do I know if my water heater needs repair or replacement?
Watch for water that takes longer to get hot, temperature that swings, weird noises, rusty or off-smelling water, or a pilot that won't stay lit. Sometimes it's a quick fix. If the tank itself is leaking, it's usually time to replace it — we'll tell you which one you're looking at.
Are tankless water heaters worth it?
For a lot of homes, yes. A tankless unit heats water on demand instead of keeping a full tank hot around the clock, so most homes see real energy savings — and you don't run out mid-shower. Whether it pencils out depends on your gas line and hot-water habits, and we'll be honest about that.
What brands of tankless heaters do you install?
We install and repair all the major brands, including Navien, Rinnai, Noritz, and Rheem.
My water heater is in the attic. Is that a problem?
It's common in Houston, but it does raise the stakes — if an attic heater springs a big leak it can ruin ceilings, floors, and whatever's stored up there. We handle attic units carefully and can talk through catch-pan and drain options while we're at it.
Do you offer free estimates on water heaters?
Yes. We'll evaluate your tank or tankless unit at no charge — repair, replacement, or maintenance — and give you the price before any work starts.
